Heat

It has been really hot here in Pennsylvania.
You don't even joy the out doors with the heat and humidity.
It is 94 degrees out right now.
working on a 4 patch quilt with dashounds, bones, dog dishes and dog houses.
Working on a dish cloth with a heart and Jesus in the middle of it.

Don't even want to cook and we have air too.

My little doggie doesn't even want to stay out.

I 'm getting ornery too from this heat I wish it would rain for a week!

We need the rain we even have cracks in our backyard from the heat.
we are lucky we have trees and bushes around our home if we didn't we would really feel the heat.

Memorial Day 2010

Hi I hope everyone hangs out a flag and remember what this day is for not for parties for their selves but who died for us. It is for our freedom and remembering who fought for us. In the past and the future.

We should hang a flag every day and be proud of it too just not when there is a holiday remember it year around and year after year.

And be proud to be an AMERICAN too!

Remember our colors RED< WHITE AND BLUE stands for our freedom! And all the HEROES who fought for those colors say thanks to all of the veteran's in the past, now and the future ones. THANK YOU~

Snow on the ground.

Hi, well it is snowing here right now the ground is covered.
I have my blocks done for the dresdon quilt now I have to add borders around each block. It is hard to decide on the color to add.

Lost glasses Found!

Hi, I lost my new glasses about 2 years ago and I couldn't find them. When I lost these I only had them about 2 weeks. I tore the house apart couldn't find them. Never believed they fell behind these boxes of paper. Well, today I was moving things around my computer, two huge boxes of computer paper and here I found my lost glasses behind the boxes. In the meantime I bought new ones again. The prescription are the same as my new ones.

It is a dreary rainy day here but at least isn't snowing.

I have about 56 blocks done on my red, white, and blue dresdon quilt done.

My goal for this year is too complete dresdon, braid, and Sunbonnet Sue one.

Hi, well it is still snowing here.

Just looking at all the different kinds of quilt patterns offered free.
Then looking at the different fabrics you could use with them.
You would have to live to be 10,100 years old and longer to do all those patterns. I used to print the patterns out what I wanted to do now I just save it to a disk and save a lot of paper, ink and storage space.

Everyone is sleeping here today.

Went to Joann's and walked through there bought some material with bright butterflies and dragonflies on it.

Also, some double pointed knitting needles I want to try some mittens on them.

Hi, it is a dreary looking day outside and it is getting colder out. We surely didn't get that big snowstorm and I 'm glad of it. Let someone else have it once and awhile.
My son installed a door garage opener and it is nice to have.

Just finished a pair of yellow mittens.
Going to start another dresdon quilt with dashhound and paw material for Ed.

40 degrees at 3:22 A.M.

SNOW< SNOW? AND MORE SNOW!

Hi, we are still getting more snow right now.

We have been getting freezing rain also last night and right now too! That will be great too drive and walk on.

I've been ready for spring since the first snow in November.


I'm tired of it. I'm tired of snow blowing, shoveling and driving in it.

My little Buster and Piddles don't like it because they are so low to the ground.

I wish I could go out side and sit in the sunshine too and see some pretty flowers and the green grass and trees.

I guess I vented enough for right now.

Hi it is snowing and blowing and bitter cold here.
I had to snow blow twice today and I could go out and do it again.
I'm ready for spring.
Have to keep the deck cleaned off too so our little doggies can get to the back yard.

My granddaughter is in Floridia on vacation and she said it is only 40 degrees out. She told me she had to put on long pants and long sleeve shirt. She said she wouldn't live there either doesn't like it.
