where does the time go, today is my son's birthday Jimmie he is 34.
It just seems like yesterday he was born.
Well I hope all the little ghosts and goblins have a nice and safe day.
It is suppose to be in the 60's today Indian Summer.

We are in for a snow effect lake storm tonight and tomorrow.
Then it is suppose to warm up the rest of the week.
It is really windy here today.
I do not like winter the older you get the worse it gets.
I like spring, fall and summer.

Well it was snowing here today Erie, PA YUK!
I always wondered why my grandmother Myrtle used to say the older you get the worse you hate snow I see why now.
I crocheted scarves for my Piddle diddles and Buster.

It is raining!

Hi, Well it is raining.
I hung out clothes and they are getting a second rinse.
Everyone is sleeping right now 5:19 AM.
Just reading and going through blogs, and emails.
There is alot of talented people in this world.
So many different talent some quilts, cooks, knits, and crochet.

Fall 2008

Hi
The tree on the front page of this blog the leaves are gone.
We had a frost last night.
All we are doing is racking leaves.
I'm making mittens, and more dishcloths.
Piddles is doing a little better.
My sister Tiana and my dad stopped in to see us.

Well I'm going to try to learn to knit a pair of socks.
I'm working on the last mitten for my grandson I will post a picture when I'm done.
I have to fix the body on my Nissan Pathfinder today.
It is going to be another nice day outside I have to rack leaves, wash and hang clothes outside too.
Going to A C Moore's to get some more knitting needles.

trying to stay awake had only 3 hours of sleep in two days.
my little piddles is doing okay.
Buster dog loves this kind of weather.
He loves to chase the squirrels.

well what's for supper

Hi, I cooked spaghetti and meat sauce for supper.
My buster and piddles just love it.
Another nice day here in Pennsylvania
I just finished the round windmill dishcloth for my granddaughter Samantha.
I started the mittens for my grandson JJ.
Well, going to go for now to watch the news and do some knitting.

more knitting needles

Went to A C Moore's and bought some new knitting needles.
Went to Joanne's and bought some fat squares to do a frog quilt.
Another nice day outside.
Even hung out clothes.

This is Piddles she is resting on the glider on the front porch. You don't get very many pictures of her because she turns her head on you. She is 18 years old. She recently had a stroke. She is doing better.

W e have to put her on the glider she can't jump anymore.

Dashounds love their blankets and pillows.

This is Buster waiting for a treat before going to bed.

It is raining

Hi, well it is raining and the leaves are falling.
It surely looks like a dreary fall day here today.
My little piddle diddles is feeling a little better.
I bought some fleece to make them scrunchies for their dog collars.
I bought some more yarn to knit some mittens for my grandson JJ.
Well going to go and figure out what we are having for supper.
And hang out my clothes under the porch awning.

Well, another nice sunny fall day outside.
My little Piddles diddles had a mini stroke she is very weak now.
Still trying to get ready for winter.
Where does all the time go.
Why do we collect so much stuff too!

Sauerkraut and hamburg

garlic for taste

pepper for taste

take 1/2 lb or 1 lb of hamburg and fry till it is done and drain

then take the smallest can of sauerkraut don't drain it and it to the hamburg

and heat it up

Put it in between bread and butter

visitors my son Jimmie, grandchildren Samantha, and JJ

My son and family came for a visit tonight.
Jimmie hooked up a new thermostat for us
It was nice to see Samanatha and JJ.
JJ is over 6 foot now wow.
Samantha has her braces off now, her teeth are so perfect.
well just had to write
i'm back off to knitting some more windmills cloths.
Now Samantha wants 2 of them for her bedroom for doilies.
New mittens out of sherbert yarn.

JJ wants new mittens too and a dishcloth with a snow board on it.
I found all the patterns and yarn.

Well, another fall day here in Pennsylvania.

just knitting a windmill dishcloth doing it in a varigated raspberry color.

Getting Ready for Winter 2008

Hi,

We are getting ready for another winter.
I even cooked a Turkey dinner today.
Collecting yarn for the winter to knit, crochet.
Collected material to make some quilts.
I love too make dishcloths.
