Well, it is snowing and blowing again.

Hi, it is cold and windy right now without any snow.
My little doggies had to go outside. 2:08 AM
Now they are sleeping and I'm up now.
It is almost a new year.
Time surely goes faster the older you get.

I have been up since 2:08 AM.
I went to Sears, AC Moore's and Michael's.
I was good I only bought 1 pair of knitting needles and 1 ball of peaches and creme.
Went to Top's grocery store and bought a pork roast for New Year's day.
I'm tired trying to stay up for a while.

Hi, It is 51 degrees out. It is raining and windy here the snow is gone. What a difference it makes when the new snow arrives. I hope we don't get anymore. We have had a total around 68 inches so far this year. We have had more than Buffalo, New York.
It feels like a spring day outside.
At 2:57 pm it is 62 degrees.
It is like a spring day out the wind is blowing and the sun keeps peeking out of the clouds. Buster and Piddles is enjoying today too! It could keep this up till spring.

We went to Kmart and Sears shopping. The mall parking was full.

Hi, well it is all over for another year. We survived it.
We had a nice Christmas.
We enjoyed company, phone calls and Christmas cards.
We had Ham, Spaghetti and meatballs, white potatoes, yams, deviled eggs, and salad tri colored noodles with broccoli, cauliflower, onions, green peppers, olives black and radishes with dressing.

Everyone is sleeping here right now.
I'm tired and trying to wake up.
My goal this year is too finish my quilts I have started.

Hi, Well it is raining here this morning and it is warming up for the day.
Just think it is the day before Christmas.
We still have to do some shopping today.
Go to the post office because we missed the mail person yesterday.
Fight the crowds to do some grocery shopping too!

I think all the stores should be closed on all the holidays so people can enjoy it and their families.

Hi, it is bitter cold here tonight.
Went to the store it is crazy there. Then went to Little Casear's and bought a pizza.

Hi, It is so windy here today and bitter cold out. The icicles want winter coats on to keep warm.
Buster doesn't even want to be out side today and he loves the snow.
Over the lake it is pitch black maybe we won't get all the snow they predict.
Well, I only have one more pair of mittens to knit by Christmas. I still never found the ones I lost maybe someday.
The wind is around 45 miles an hour.

Hi, We went shopping for some galoshes. We found them at a store that has been opened for 82 years. It is called L Press in Erie, PA.

It is bitter cold here we are suppose to get bad weather till Monday night. I'm ready for Spring and counting.

I made mittens for my grandchildren and lost them. So I started some new ones hope to get them done. They might of even made their way up stairs too.

Christmas

Hi,
I surely miss my children. Christmas isn't the same when they leave your home.
Sure they come for Christmas but all the little pitter patter of the feet, the exicement, the noises,
the papers for the packages are gone. Then they have their own families and want to spend more time with them. Which I can understand because we went through it too.

Hi, now Thanksgiving is over.

Now it is count down till Christmas.
Today is Black Friday for the stores to see if people are buying or not.
I'm not going any where today I would rather go without or pay the regular price.
I hate being stuck in lines in the stores. I do not like driving either, with traffic lined up for miles.

I'm ready for spring.
I'm tired of shoveling and snow blowing.
I guess the older you get the worse it is.
My Buster and Piddles finally got out into the yard after I shoveled their paths.
Piddles don't go very far in the snow but Buster he made paths everywhere.
But when Buster is done playing he barks then comes in and hides under blankets to get warm.
My friend Marty in Florida made them dogie collars.

hi, well it snowed here last night about 10 inches.
Just snow blowed the driveway and sidewalk I'm ready for spring.
Ed, isn't allow to shovel of use the snow blower for 6 to 8 weeks.
I think it is just quick to shovel it.

My grandmother Johnson raised me and three things she always said to me:

1. The older you get you don't like snow.
2. The time surely goes faster when you get older.
3 Every piece of money on the ground pick it up because someday you might need that change.

HI, another night up couldn't sleep.
The wind is howling and starting to snow.
Some places around here is suppose to get up to 2 feet of snow by Saturday morning it all depends up on the wind.

Ed, is doing better when he opened the door up Buster and Piddles went crazy when they saw him they forgot me.

Hi, we are digging out from a snow storm from last night and we are still getting more.
We probably had about 12 inches of snow.
I hate it.
Then we don't have any tv because the dish network isn't working called them and they said it could be do to the weather. I have told them half the time it doesn't even work when the sun is just shining.

The trees and the bushes are bent because the snow is so heavy.

hospitals

hi, I've been at the hospital with Ed he had a heart attack.
It is very cold out today and it rained so hard yesterday.
Buster and Piddles keeps going from one room to the next looking for him.
He phones them and talks to them on the speaker phone.
They look than they go hunting for him.
The only food he likes there is Grandma's meatloaf.
Well, getting ready to go there.
I'm exhausted.

crockpot receipe

I fried some chicken breasts up till nicely brown
put inoto a crockpot
add 2 cans of mushroom soup
2 onions chopped
garlic
1 can of mushrooms un- drained
1 can of mexican corn un- drained
couple of peeled carrots
1 1/2 cups of water
cook on high for 4- 6 hours
when almost done put some cut up biscuits on top and cook for about half an hour

The whole backyard is full of leaves.
My little Piddles and Buster each morning has to have a piece of buttered toast.

We still have the snow but it is suppose to warm up for couple of days, then it is suppose to snow again.

hi, Well we just got our first snow storm last night.
It is raining and snowing here.
I have to take some pictures.
I put my Piddles and Buster neck scarves on so their collars don't freeze. A friend Marty, made them couple of years ago out of fleece.

The leaves are falling fast and what a mess.
We have all of ours cleaned up and gone.
My Piddles and Buster got their baths today. Then they had potatoes and gravy for dinner. Then they went to bed and still is sleeping.

A New President for us.
I'm very glad it is over with this election that has gone on for two years.
We are ready for a new one.

It was 73 degrees here yesterday and it is suppose to be like that today.
Right now it is very windy out at 4:36 A.M.

We had a frost last night.
All we are doing is racking leaves.
I'm making mittens, and more dishcloths.
Piddles is doing a little better.

Went to A C Moore's and bought some new knitting needles.
Went to Joanne's and bought some fat squares to do a frog quilt.
Another nice day outside.
Even hung out clothes.

This is Piddles she is resting on the glider on the front porch. You don't get very many pictures of her because she turns her head on you. She is 18 years old. She recently had a stroke. She is doing better.

W e have to put her on the glider she can't jump anymore.

Dashounds love their blankets and pillows.

I bought some fleece to make them scrunchies for their dog collars.

Well, another nice sunny fall day outside.
My little Piddles diddles had a mini stroke she is very weak now.
Still trying to get ready for winter.
Where does all the time go.
Why do we collect so much stuff too!

Sauerkraut and hamburg

garlic for taste

pepper for taste

take 1/2 lb or 1 lb of hamburg and fry till it is done and drain

then take the smallest can of sauerkraut don't drain it and it to the hamburg

and heat it up

Put it in between bread and butter

visitors my son Jimmie, grandchildren Samantha, and JJ

My son and family came for a visit tonight.
Jimmie hooked up a new thermostat for us
It was nice to see Samanatha and JJ.
JJ is over 6 foot now wow.
Samantha has her braces off now, her teeth are so perfect.
well just had to write
i'm back off to knitting some more windmills cloths.
Now Samantha wants 2 of them for her bedroom for doilies.
New mittens out of sherbert yarn.

JJ wants new mittens too and a dishcloth with a snow board on it.
I found all the patterns and yarn.
